All our Miniature Herefords are registered with Hereford Australia Limited (HAL), our Mini bloodlines go back to the original breeder Roy Largent from the Point of Rocks Ranch in Texas U.S.A .We completely adhere to the 5 generation Miniature Hereford rule as set out by the AMHCA and do not, neither recommend breeding with ordinary size Herefords, you are guaranteed a genuine Miniature Hereford in size and pure mini generation bloodlines.

We started off by purchasing our first heifer/embryo from Superior Stock Selection Pty. Ltd. In 1996 and subsequently Quamby Brook Gold Nugget was born on 31st Dec. 1996 at the Three Spring Stud in Victoria. The original importers comprising 6 businesspersons

started the AMHCA in the beginning of 1997.

I was Member No.7, they’re first outside member, subsequently registering Goldie with the AMHCA on the 24th Feb. 1997. In 1998 we started a flushing program and where successful with 14 A grade embryos in the first flush and 11 A grade, 1 B grade embryo in the second flush.

HCH Miniature Hereford assures you quality and ongoing support if needed, our minis are all over Tasmania, some in Queensland and some in Victoria. Farm visits are always welcome, assuring you a chat and a cuppa.
